There is a couple of weird wormlike things... The first one is the weird long white thing in the middle of the screen.

The second is a yellow and black striped short stubby thing thats poking out of one of the rocks.

Second one looks like the back-end of a bristleworm to me, harmless scavenger. Not sure anout the first one, any chance of a clearer pic?

First one is a worm, I have loads, remind me of the one out of Empire Strikes Back when the get bigger!

Second one, I'm with Adam, one end of a bristleworm, dont ever try and pull one from the rock, they burn your hands (vis their other name of fireworms) and they snap off, leaving the rest to carry on living.

would there be any good reason to get rid of a bristleworm?

I'd leave it be, good scavengers IMO. Mine seem to pop out of the rocks at feeding time to help clear up.
