Hi all, just thought I'd update on one of my livestocks' regenerative powers:

Two weeks ago I arrived home from work to see that Rocky, the boxing shrimp (candy stripe shrimp) (sorry, childrens fault on the name) had obviously pushed his luck too far with another of the inhabitants and lost his right claw!

A couple of days passed and I noticed a stump, thought that I must have missed it when looking at him the first time, Tuesday this week, the stump had grown to about 1/3rd the length of the remaining arm and the end had a ridge in it where the pincers could split.

I went home yesterday to find the full arm back in place, with full movement and colouration! Not bad in two weeks!

that is fast, i thought they only came back through shedding. I don't have a boxer but my cleaners only seem to shed every 6-8 wks ish.

Good to hear it's better, this hobby isn't cheap!
