Just thought I'd mention my new purchase, I wanted a cheap solution to skimming my new 35 litre nano after deciding to go skimmerliess and did a bit of searching the net. I didnt want an in tank solution as it would have been ugly in such a small tank and came across this on a few US forums.



It was previously branded the seio nano skimmer and came with many recommendations on US sites. I tracked one down in the UK (after a problem with one supplier, pm and I save you the hassle if you decide to get one.)

Anyway it came on Wednesday and got it installed on Thursday aftter work and I must say I'm well impressed so far, set up out of the box no adjustments made yet and its producing a good level of foam.

Foaming away..



the tank hasn't much load with a Yasha and a couple of tiny coral gobies, sexy shrimp and a pistol shrimp but look like a good buy and all for £20.00. Anyone wanting a HOB skimmer for a nano take a look at the Rio you wont be dissapointed.


The Nano with a few more softies and a gorgeous green ric.. how many fish can you spot?

nice one! I remember reading about these a while back, they look like handy little skimmers for the smaller tank. Lovely looking tank by the way.
